What parents should know

Parent-Child Interaction Therapy is a manualized, evidence-based treatment for disruptive behaviour in children ages 2-7, with parent and clinician working together via live coaching. Held by licensed mental health professionals.

Coaching is not therapy

Parenting coaching focuses on goal-setting, skill-building, and moving forward. It is not a substitute for therapy or mental health treatment. Coaches with therapy licenses may offer coaching services separately from their clinical practice.
